July 24, 2025, Balinghe Bridge, Guizhou—German daredevil Moritz confronted himself on the edge of the abyss. Hundreds of meters of emptiness gaped beneath his feet, with only a narrow walkway of the colossal bridge separating him from the valley floor. Wind whistled past his ears, clawing at the steel cables, as he advanced step by step.
