世界向黔看|貴陽精品咖啡走進(jìn)全球視野

今年5月,隨著貴陽咖啡師彭近洋在2025 WBrC世界咖啡沖煮大賽中奪冠,貴陽精品咖啡再次迎來高光時(shí)刻,得到全球咖啡業(yè)界關(guān)注。


世界咖啡沖煮大賽是世界咖啡協(xié)會授權(quán)的六項(xiàng)咖啡賽事之一,六項(xiàng)比賽中至今共有5位中國人奪冠,可以說,這是全球咖啡領(lǐng)域含金量最高的賽事,說明在中國西南地區(qū)的貴州,完全能夠做出世界一流品質(zhì)的精品咖啡。


其實(shí),貴州并不是咖啡主產(chǎn)地,貴州省內(nèi)只有黔西南州少量試種過咖啡。這正如法國戛納不生產(chǎn)電影,卻不影響戛納因電影而馳名世界。貴州不廣泛種植咖啡,但并不影響貴州精品咖啡走向世界。

有媒體評價(jià)貴陽精品咖啡“既專業(yè)又生活”。喬治隊(duì)長的彭近洋、對的咖啡的胡穎等,這些在世界、全國咖啡賽事中斬獲佳績的咖啡師,長期深耕咖啡領(lǐng)域,他們?nèi)〉玫某煽兤鋵?shí)就是貴陽精品咖啡專業(yè)度的寫照。從產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展角度而言,貴陽精品咖啡已經(jīng)實(shí)現(xiàn)產(chǎn)值過億元,在中國精品咖啡賽道上跑出了好成績。在貴陽,咖啡也是融入人們生活的,喝咖啡和吃洋芋粑、吃酸粉、吃豆腐果常常同步進(jìn)行。

In May 2025, Peng Jinyang, a barista from Guiyang, clinched the championship title at the World Brewers Cup (WBrC), marking a defining moment for specialty coffee from Guiyang and drawing global attention from the coffee industry.

 

Organized under the authority of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the WBrC is among six official World Coffee Championships. So far, only five Chinese baristas have claimed titles in these elite events. Peng’s victory affirms that world-class specialty coffee can indeed be crafted in Guizhou, a mountainous province in Southwest China.

 

What makes Guiyang’s rise even more remarkable is that Guizhou Province, where the city is located, is not a traditional coffee-growing region. With only small-scale trial plantings in areas like Qianxinan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou is not known for coffee production. Yet, like Cannes is to cinema, Guiyang is proving that global recognition doesn’t depend on being a place of origin—it’s about excellence.

 

Some media have described Guizhou’s specialty coffee scene as "both professional and life-oriented." Baristas like Peng Jinyang from Captain George and Hu Ying from Dui de Coffee—who have earned top honors in prestigious national and international coffee competitions—are testament to this professionalism. Their achievements reflect the high caliber of Guiyang’s specialty coffee industry. From an industrial development perspective, Guiyang’s specialty coffee sector has already exceeded 100 million CNY in output value, establishing itself as a standout performer in China’s specialty coffee industry. In daily life, coffee is deeply integrated into the rhythms of the city. Locals often enjoy their pour-over or espresso alongside traditional snacks like Yangyuba(crispy potato cakes), Suanfen (sour rice noodles), or Doufuguo (pan-fried tofu wraps), illustrating a unique fusion of global coffee culture and regional culinary heritage.

 

Coffee is one of the most beloved beverages worldwide. As Guizhou positions itself as a world-class tourism destination, the rise of Guiyang’s specialty coffee scene signals more than a trend—it is the result of years of dedication by coffee professionals who embrace a philosophy of long-termism. It also represents a new cultural phenomenon emerging amid Guizhou’s broader global development.


Tourism consumption patterns are shifting from "dining during travel" to "travel for dining." In this context, world-class specialty coffee aligns naturally with the goals of a world-class travel destination. Through the global language of coffee, we warmly welcome friends from all over the world to visit Guizhou—not only to witness spectacular landscapes, but also to savor exceptional specialty coffee rooted in passion and profession.
